Busan International Boat Show 2025    Apr. 18 (Fri) – Apr. 20 (Sun)

FAQs

How can I participate in the exhibition?

Please fill out the application form and submit it to the Secretariat of the Busan International Boat Show (hereinafter referred to as the "Secretariat"), and we will guide you through the process.

How do I pay the participation fee after applying?

After submitting the application form, you must pay the deposit (50% of the total booth fee) within 7 days. The remaining balance and additional facility fees must be fully paid by the deadline specified by the Secretariat.

How is the booth allocation (location) determined after applying for participation?

The Secretariat allocates booth locations by considering factors such as the type and scale of the exhibited items, as well as the order of application submission.

While the Secretariat will make every effort to accommodate the requests of participating companies regarding booth location, the final allocation will take into account the efficient use of exhibition space, visitor safety, and optimal traffic flow within the venue.

Does the Secretariat provide carts (transportation equipment) for moving in and out exhibits?

The Secretariat does not have any carts or transportation equipment available for use.

Participating companies must prepare their own carts or necessary transportation equipment when moving in or out exhibits.

When will electricity be supplied?

Electricity is typically expected to be available after 2 PM on the final day of booth setup. However, this schedule may be subject to slight changes to ensure safety within the venue.

When can I receive the exhibition entry badge?

The exhibition entry badge can be issued at the registration desk located at the entrance of the exhibition hall starting from 2 PM on the final day of booth setup.

Are there any items that participating companies need to prepare separately?

Participating companies should prepare exhibits, display stands, booth interiors, product catalogs, and business cards.

In addition, it is highly important to provide prior training for staff to effectively assist and engage with visitors to the booth.

Does the Secretariat provide cranes and forklifts for loading and unloading exhibits within the exhibition hall?

During the setup and dismantling periods, the Secretariat provides a limited number of cranes and forklifts to assist participating companies in improving convenience and reducing costs.

However, if multiple companies request assistance during the same time period, delays in service may occur. Additionally, due to internal circumstances, the Secretariat may be unable to provide support, so it is essential to confirm availability in advance with the Secretariat.

When loading or unloading exhibits, the task must be carried out under the responsibility of the company’s staff or manager. If no staff or manager from the company is present, service support may be unavailable.

Furthermore, the Secretariat does not take any responsibility for compensation or liability related to accidents, including damage to exhibits or personal injury, that may occur during loading, unloading, or transportation of exhibits.

How is parking managed during the setup period and the exhibition period?

To ensure convenience for participating companies, free short-term parking passes are provided for the 3-day exhibition period. Participating companies must fill out the "Application for Free Short-Term Parking Pass" and submit it to the Boat Show Secretariat.

How can I purchase parking passes and what are the parking fees?

For vehicles under 2.5 tons, the fee is 400 KRW per 10 minutes, with a daily maximum of 15,000 KRW. For vehicles over 2.5 tons, the fee is doubled.

Parking fees can be paid by card at the payment machines located at the BEXCO exit when leaving.

These rates are based on the 2024 fee schedule and may be subject to change without prior notice according to BEXCO’s operating regulations, independent of the Secretariat.

What are the precautions for events and activities within the booth?

If you plan to hold events targeting visitors within your booth, you must coordinate with the Secretariat in advance. If excessive noise causes discomfort to visitors or other exhibitors, the Secretariat reserves the right to restrict the event.

Additionally, events hosted by participating companies must be conducted strictly within their booth space and are not allowed in shared areas, such as aisles or pathways outside the booth.

When can vehicles enter the exhibition hall after the event ends?

To ensure the safety of event staff, participating company employees, and visitors, vehicle entry into the exhibition hall is allowed 1 hour after the event concludes.

When must the exhibits be removed after the event?

Exhibits that are easy to transport must be removed by 8 PM on the day the event concludes. Boats, yachts, or heavy exhibits must be removed by 9 PM on the event day or between 8 AM and 12 PM the following day.

For items requiring a crane, prior coordination with the Secretariat is necessary.
